In the Holidays

In the holidays my family and I was going to the airport because my dad was going to Tongan because he was going to a class at Tonga but  i was cleaning the house before my mum gets back from getting some stuff for my dad and i finished Cleaning  and then i get ready but then i forgot to go shower but then i finished shower we went in the morning at the airport because my dad was going in the morning because my dad miss us all but i miss my dad really much because Haloti was crying so much because he really wants to go with my dad  but my dad said we go next year but i don't want to go Tongan i want to go to Samoa .

In the weekends

In the weekend i went to the beach to Point England beach because it was very hot and sunny so i ask my mum when i was going to put up the washing , on the washing line i ask my mum , mum can we go beach and my mum said yes and we packed our stuff and went to the beach and then when we went to the  we saw heaps of people playing Tag it when they rip the tag  and yeah it was fun we meet some new people i meet some new friends to and there name was Kerr and Amy there were nice and they were playing with us and we were jumping of the rock and we were playing shark game we have to jump far and then the last person have to try and get us and someone have to say shark or else we have to get out and run back in the water stay there.

When we were in the water i was trying to push my mum of the rock but i wet her because she doesn't want to go in the water , My mum and I was siting and then i was trying to push her in the water and then my mum push Mathew i the water and this is the funny part my mum fell in the water .

Hi my name is Kalolaine Tukuafu i am 11 years old my birthday is on October 19 2007 i love to blog at home but i don't take my chrome book home so then i ask my brother if i can do more blog and then i look at other people blogs and commentating on there blog and i really love to blog my favorite color is blue and yellow but the thing is that it is almost holiday we come school Next year and i have a new teacher name Mrs Tofa she is going to be our teacher for next year and My teacher now is Mr Nath he is fun but we get to play some game outside and we get to write more blog and write more information in the holidays or at school i like to write because writing and i love to play with my friends up in the tree i love to play Hat tag how to play is when we run up to the tree and the last person on the tree is in we have to throw all our hats to the person who is in  and it was fun

On Monday 17th room 10 went to the hall and learn about First Aid  and A Man call Rob was teaching us First Aid and when someone is hurt we help them or Call 111 for help and then we Watch a short video about how the little boy save his father by calling the ambulance and then his father got saved from the ambulance from coming to his house

The Haunted Mission

, The Haunted School
Last sunday , my friends and i went to a very Haunted school , because it was  distracting us with our asitement  for high school. when we were inside it was very scary and terrifying  and my friend and i was walking around with our torch in our hand  and when we were walking around we heard a sound .

When we  heard a sound we start to run away  we start to  hide under a table which had a spiders and  we came out of the table and we saw a preson   at the window it looks like it was going to chase  and grap us room .

When my friend and i was running away from a preson from a haunted school he always go to every single school and when we were running away we got lost when we heard a sound we were scared and then we run to another way to find a safe place .



My friend and i was running to the Exit door when we open the door we saw a dog so the dog was chasing us and we went to the girls toilet and wait for someone to  come and  help us when the man saw us from the window the man came in side and try to chase us .


We began to run another way  but we can’t find any so then  we found and  we run to that place where my friend and i  hide under all of the chairs in order and we were scared of the man who was still inside the haunted mission

Today Garry was from the Digital Immersion . we learnt how to programme a robot to move from one place to another by programming it . We used a special language called Binary to programme our robot . My Group had heaps of fun but in the beginning it was very Challenging .

This article is about a group of classmates who decided to design and build a trap to catch possums that were damaging the plants.

The idea came into their mind when Craig Bond, one of the designers got a   flat tyre while driving around. He was helped by a stranger who helped him by using a small canister of compressed gas to inflate the tyre.

After studying all the different types of traps, they decided to build a trap that was  affordable, easy to carry and would be reliable and last long.

In 2010 they finally made a trap that they were happy with. It was gas powered and it had a digital counter as well.

Cross Country 2018

Last week we had cross country And when we went out for cross country first was the boys from the year 6 boys and they went to run so then when it was the girls i was going to fast and we have to run around  the court and down to the hill around the swimming pool and straight to the gate out of the gate and we have to run up to the tree and run back but we have to do 2 labs around the school and then we have to see who came first second and third so first was Kalo,  Second was Bianca , Third was , Jusdean , Fourth was , Leslie and it was fun , 

How to Glow in the dark

Yesterday Room 10 went t Mrs Tofa Class For Science and it was fun .

1. First was Have to get a plastic cup and each house get to fill up the cup up to 1/2 
2. 1 group from each house have to come up and get a highlight from Mrs Tofa and we have to get all the ink from the highlight   
3. We have to go in a dark room so that the cup can glow .

Super Duper

On Tuesday  Glenbrae school  we down to the hall and we saw the show call Super Duper book week 2018.


Glenbrae school was at the hall already for the show of the Super Duper I was so happy that the boy name was blaze and the girl name twas but i forgot what her  name and when they start the show  they first start with are song and it was fun and cool .


What happen was that how they sing are song with it called super hero . And the lady said that she was going to dress up as William mum . and blaze was going to are super hero .


when the start to play we listen to then and when it was the time it was funny because how blaze said that he want to change his name and then when Mathew puts his hand up he said call you Captain Boxes

All about My Holiday

In the Holiday my sibling and I went to Skids for thee holiday programme. On one of the Friday's we also went to the movies.

We went to the Movies to watch Incredible 2. It was funny and scary too. Before the movies started there were many advertisements. After the advertisements we all sat back and enjoyed the Movie. I felt happy because it was my first time watching Incredible 2.

Sailing at Okahu Bay

On Tuesday the 15th of May, 24 students from Glenbrae school went sailing. There were 4 people who helped us how set up the sailing boat and their names were Justin, Maria, Gavin and Gary. Miss Smith was on a boat with Maria helping other students, and Justin who was our other instructor was on another boat.

Through the day, it was really hard sailing because we needed to have two people in a sailing boat holding a rope, and one holding the pulpit. After Justin had  taught us, we had our morning tea.

After our yummy morning tea, we went in the water. I was so afraid and excited, but mostly afraid. We then sailed for a long time before we  had lunch We had some lunch and went back into the water. This time, we went through a lot of waves. I was cold.

When we were in the deep part of the Okahu Bay, we had to sail back to shore. After sailing back to shore, we put our boats on the shore. Then  we went to change into our comfy clothes again. We then filled out some forms for Justin and then Telesia said a great big thank you. After that  we had a reflection on our day at Okahu Bay with all our sailing instructors. Then we came back to Glenbrae School in the bus.

I had fun because we went in the deep water and Jesell and I fell over in the water.  I felt great and want to come back there next May!. A big thank you to the Rotary Club for making this trip possible for Glenbrae Students.

The Great BMX Race

After school, sarah and her friend josh always rode their bike down
at the local BMX track.. One afternoon, they found out that
a BMX competition was going to be held at the track on saturday.

There’s no use you entering” josh said to sarah .
because you’ll never beat the boys . Were much stronger and faster
than you.”

We’ll see about that replied sarah who was determined to win .  

On race day , sarah lined up with the other riders .
One of the boys smirked
at her .

On the starter’s signal, the eight riders set of at full speed .
Sarah gritted her teeth and pedalled before .
Down the steep hill and around the  berms she raced , catching the ladders
, Ahmed and josh .

The huge crowd cheered as sarah
landed the double jump safely and crossed the finish line first.

“Terrific race sharh!” shouted josh “you're definitely fast as the boys.

                            My Goal For 2018

Reading : My goals for 2018 is to improve my reading is to stay
on task and focusing on my work and and finishing my work on time.

Writing :  My goals for writing is to improve my writing is to sit down
and write about what you learn is if you take your net book home you go
on new tab and write down what would it make me better at writing .

Maths : My goals for maths is to impover that i get better at maths and i can be

On staryday me and my family went to roskill it a place of
